Administration & Dosage:
Phenylbutazone in administered by intravenous or deep intramuscular injection as follow:
Intravenous injection
Horses: 1-2 ml per 100kg body weight by slow Intravenous injection daily under doctor advice.
Adult cattle: 15-20 ml once a day or on alternate days depending on severity of the symptoms.
Deep Intramuscular Injection: Adult Cattle: 15-20ml first day, 20ml 2nd day follows by 10ml daily for 1-4 day.

Description:
Flunixin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and a non-narcotic analgesic with antipyretic properties. It is used in the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with muscular-skeletal disorders and colic. In addition it is used for the control of acute inflammation reactions associated with infectious diseases. Flunixin is also applied as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Indications:
Cattle:
I-Flox is indicated as an adjunct to antimicrobial therapy to reduce clinical signs of acute inflammation in cases of infectious respiratory disease.
Horses:
I-Flox is indicated for the alleviation of inflammatory signs associated with musculo-skeletal disorders and for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic.
Swine:
I-Flox is indicated as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of swine respiratory diseases.
Dosage:
For intramuscular or intravenous administration
Cattle : 2 ml. per 45 kg bodyweight. Repeat if necessary at 24 h intervals for up to 3 consecutive days.
Swine : 2 ml. per 45 kg bodyweight once by intramuscular injection only.
Horses : 1 ml. per 45 kg bodyweight. Treatment may be repeated once or
Twice if colic recurs. In case of musculo-skeletal disorders, treatment is once daily for up to 5 days according to clinical response.
Withdrawal times:
For meat: Cattle: 14 days. Horses: 28 days. Pigs: 24 days.

Indications
Itofen Inj is a potent, non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and anti-pyretic properties.
In the horse Itofen Inj is indicated for: The alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculo-skeletal disorders. It is also indicated for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic.
In cattle Itofen Inj is indicated for:
The supportive treatment of parturient paresis associated with calving, Reducing the pyrexia and distress associated with bacterial respiratory disease when used in conjunction with antimicrobial therapy. Improving the recovery rate in acute clinical mastitis, including acute endotoxin mastitis, caused by gram negative micro-organisms, in conjunction with antimicrobial therapy; Reducing edema of the udder associated with calving.
It is a potent non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and anti-pyretic properties.
Indications
Horse:
For use in musculo-skeletal conditions, the recommended dosage is 2.2 mg/kg ketoprofen, i.e. 1 ml of Itofen Inj.45 kg bodyweight, administered by intravenous injection once daily for up to 3 to 5 days.
For use in equine colic, the recommended dosage is 2.2 mg/kg (1 ml/45 kg) bodyweight, given by intravenous injection for immediate effect. A second injection may be given if colic recurs.
Cattle: The recommended dose is 3 mg/kg ketoprofen bodyweight, i.e. 1 ml of Itofen Inj.33 kg bodyweight, administered by intravenous or deep intramuscular injection once daily for up to 3 days.
Withdrawal period:
Horses, cattle and pigs must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.
There is no withholding period necessary for the milk of treated cattle.
Animals may be slaughtered for human consumption only after the following periods from the last treatment:-
Cattle Meat following intravenous administration 1 day.
Meat-following intramuscular administration 4 days. Milk---- Zero days Pigs Meat----4 days
