Overview of the Organization
International Pharma Labs is situated at Raiwind Road, Bhobtian Chowk, Defence Road, 1 Km toward Kahna, Lahore, Pakistan. It is established on approximately 3 acres of land with almost 18,000 sq ft of production facilities. A dedicated sterile area is provided with the facility to produce general and antibiotic injectables, equipped with fully automatic filling lines. The large oral-liquid area is equipped with automatic procedures from processing to filling & sealing. The foundation of the company is its quality-control department, equipped with modern techniques including HPLC (USA) and spectrophotometer.
Our History
Our family has been related to the medicine business since 1934. Late Sh. Hakim Waris Jawa started his work in Lahore in 1934 under the name of Jawa Pansari Store, serving humanity. Observing the changes in the field of medicine, Sh. Shahid Ali Jawa acquired a pharmaceutical company under the name of IRZA Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd. The company was restructured after the implementation of the Drug Act 1976 and continues as one of the leading pharmaceutical companies of Pakistan.
In 1981, Ali Akbar Jawa, Amjad Ali Jawa and Sajid Ali Jawa established a new unit, Wilshire Labs (Pvt.) Ltd. To diversify and serve society further, Sh. Ali Akbar Jawa began establishing a veterinary pharmaceutical unit in 2003 — International Pharma Labs — which was completed in August 2005 and started serving the world under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced staff.
