Mode of Action

Levamisole kills the parasites by depolarizing the muscle fiber cells of Helminths and causes their paralysis followed by death of the helminths.

Indications

Levadox is a rapid acting anthelmintic, highly effective at one dose rate against stomach and bowel worms, including Ostertagia and nematodirus, and lungworm (causing ‘Husk’ or ‘Hoose’) in cattle, sheep and goats. Levadox wide safety margin makes it suitable for all ages of stock including pregnant and milking animal.
