Composition
Each 100 ml contains:
Enrofloxacin 20gm
Description
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella, spp.
Indications
Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by enrofloxacin sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine.
Contra-indications
Hypersensitivity to enrofloxacin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired liver and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Side Effects
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Administration to juvenile animals can lead to arthropathy.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration:
Calves, goats and sheep:
Twice daily 5 ml. per 75 – 150 kg. body weight for 3 – 5 days.
Poultry: 100 ml per 300 – 400 liter drinking water for 3 – 5 days.

Withdrawal Times
– For meat: 12 days.
